Employing TIG and MIG welding techniques along with aircraft-quality aluminum fasteners, this well-designed insert ensures optimal endurance. The ETM-I is tailored to prioritize patient and attendant comfort, featuring a marine-grade upholstered seat and the option for electric or forced air coolant heating. Functionality is a key focus, as the ETM-I utilizes only the front half of long-bed storage space, leaving room for additional supplies like fuel and chainsaws. Safety remains paramount, with superior automotive seat belts for both patient and passenger, standard RV-style latches for internal and external access, and a design that optimizes space while reducing blind spots. The module is equipped with two RV-style sliding, tinted windows with screens, a high-quality roof vent, and removable hinges for the rear access door, enhancing versatility.

Compatibility
- Short/Standard/Long Box Domestic (Ford/Chevy/Dodge) Pick-Up Trucks 2000+
- You can put this unit onto a Flat Deck; however, you may have to modify the installation technique accordingly to maintain secure attachment and WorkSafeBC/CMVSS compliancy. Rival is not liable or responsible for any installations outside the bounds of our instructions.
- If you are putting this onto a flat deck, we can add boxes underneath either side to fill in the gaps (it looks good!)
Constraints & Limitations
- May not fit Import vehicles (Toyota, Isuzu, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, etc.); not guaranteed
- Only rollover engineered for up-to the 1 ton (F350/3500) class of trucks. You may NOT use the E.T.M.-I for patient transportation on a F450/4500 series or heavier vehicle.

- ≤ 1 Day; not guaranteed. We ask all clients to be ready to reserve a hotel for worst case scenario. However, 99% of our E.T.M.-I installs are same-day completion; typically we need your vehicle for only ~3-4 hours.

Fleet Yourself.
Express Custom aims to keep ETM-I units in stock throughout the year, building them in batches. In case of unavailability, a typical batch build wait time is around three weeks. Express Custom encourages the creation of fleets by offering a substantial discount of -$300.00 for each unit when multiple ETM-I units are purchased on the same invoice. The ETM-I not only adheres to safety criteria outlined by the Motor Vehicle Safety Act but also complies with the standards set by WorkSafeBC from May 2019 to August 2021 and meets the requirements attributed to passenger compartments on highway roads, as stipulated by Transport Canada. With its modern features, including pre-wired white and red LED dome lights, universal fit for all full-size North American pickups, and high-visibility decals, the Express Custom ETM-I stands as a reliable and safety-focused solution for patient transportation.

- Beginning in 2005, we have built hundreds of E.T.V.’s and have a 100% track record of zero injuries stemming from our E.T.M.-I.
In fact, a head-on vehicle collision occured on a highway and one of the vehicles had our E.T.M.-I on board. Despite many rollovers and a written off truck, the E.T.M.-I survived in such great condition it was able to be re put into service without ANY structural damage or repair needed. That’s proven strength. - In 2019, WorkSafeBC requested our unit go through engineering to substantiate its viability in the field for worker transportation. We checked off every box, and are compliant with the handpicked requirements put forth by WorkSafeBC in 2019 through 2021; the most up-to-date criterium available.
- This unit is additionaly compliant with Transport Canada / CMVSS criteria normally attributed to passenger compartments intended for usage on highway roads, and has been reviewed by members of
- Engineered for compliancy with Glazing Materials, Door Locks, Door Retention Components, Seat Anchorage, Frontal Impact, Seat Belt Assemblies, Seat Belt Anchorage, and Rollover Protection.
E.T.M.-I’s are safe for usage for the intended purpose of completing an E.T.V. assembly and transporting a worker to the closest medical treatment center.
