The (not so) secret strength of the Corsair lies in its intelligent balance of aluminum structure and wood-deck practicality. Each deck combines a 5052-H32 marine-grade aluminum frame with 6061-T6 extrusions and a 2×6 fir tongue-and-groove surface, reinforced by additional cross-members to match the rigidity of Rival’s aluminum-decked versions. The result is a deck that feels traditional underfoot yet performs like a modern system. The Corsair’s wood planks naturally absorb small amounts of oil, fuel, or water—preventing slick surfaces—and can be drilled, screwed, or bolted into without permanently altering the deck. When the boards eventually wear out, they’re easily replaced, extending the deck’s lifespan far beyond most factory builds.
Designed for both pickup replacements and cab-chassis applications, the Corsair delivers all-Canadian resilience with field-service flexibility. Its wood surface cushions impact, dampens vibration, and provides natural grip in wet or dirty conditions, while the aluminum frame resists corrosion and keeps weight down. Optional accessories such as under-deck boxes, stake-in sides, and custom finishes allow every Corsair to be configured for its trade. Whether you’re a contractor who retools your truck every season or a fleet manager maintaining multiple units, the Corsair’s replaceable wood decking and premium aluminum frame make it a practical, professional, and future-proof flat deck solution.
